It is now already scientifically proved that the qualities of the goat and sheep products are much more superior then the cow products. Less fat, different minerals, different protein which are easily and rapidly digestible the goat’s milk may also have advantages when it comes to allergies containing only trace amounts of an allergenic casein protein, alpha-S1, found in cow’s milk. Goat’s milk casein is more similar to human milk, containing a slightly lower levels of lactose.

Goat’s milk contains 13 percent more calcium, 25 percent more vitamin B-6, 47 percent more vitamin A, 134 percent more potassium, and three times more niacin. It is also four times higher in copper. Goat’s milk also contains 27 percent more of the antioxidant selenium than cow’s milk.

Riverland Diary Bio Farm is the success story of Mr. Vassilis Kiprianou who's name already belongs to the community of Cypriots products. After he graduated the A.T.E.i Thesalonikis Greece University he decided to return to Cyprus to follow his passion. Two years he spend locked inside the Government offices when he realized that his only dream is to work outside on a farm, close to the animals and land. He started on his own small piece of land, succeeding to obtain more then 1.000.000 euro European Funds in order to develop one of most equipped Bio Diary Farm in Cyprus.

 It was a difficult start but his ambition and knowledge helped him make out of Riverland a new Cypriot Brand. His love and dedication to his family being a happy father of 4 kids inspired him to create a new adventure around his special farm. Riverland adventure is the new way of discovering the farm and it's products, where kids and parents can enjoy a day out in the nature, meeting the chickens, goats and sheep, horses and rabbits, practicing archery, horse riding, kayak and climbing. This is how people meet the nature, meet the healthy food and Riverland.

Riverland is specialized in the production of goat and sheep products like Hallomi cheese (Cypriot traditional cheese), feta cheese, Kefir and Airani, Yogurt, vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggs.

Riverland Farm responds to site-specific farming and crop conditions by integrating cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity. At Riverland synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers are not used. The animals are free and they are fed using Certified Organic Non GMO products.

The fields are fertilized by the Organic Compost that is made in the farm.
